Mindful eating:
why eat mindfully
Weight loss

When you eat, are you fully aware that you are eating and what is in your mouth?
We often forget to take the time and end up eating in front of our computer, with our phone, in the street or in our car.
Mindful Eating teaches us to be in the present moment, to allow ourselves to eat and to stop eating when we decide to.
Mindfulness, a solution for losing weight
Mindful eating to rediscover pleasure and stop automatic reactions, that is to say, paying attention without any judgment to the present moment.
"Do I eat out of hunger?"
" Am I compensating ?"
We no longer try to avoid our thoughts and emotions because we are aware of them; now we observe them. We can then begin to decide what we eat and control emotional cravings.
Mindful eating allows you to pay attention to the taste of what you're eating, to the onset of gustatory satiation, that is, the end of the pleasure of eating. It also helps you better feel satiety , which is equivalent to the disappearance of hunger. Stopping eating when you're no longer hungry is the perfect recipe for lasting weight loss.
Eat listening to your body and no one else
Mindful eating allows you to feel how your body works without judgment and to be more in tune with your emotions. Just like when we were still small children and we still had an instinctive relationship with food; up to the age of 4, a child knows when they are hungry and when they have had enough to eat.
However, as we grow up, food no longer serves only as fuel, but also to soothe, distract, reward, and even punish... The frank and direct relationship that once existed with our meals is disrupted by eating habits transmitted by social rules, our environment, and those close to us. We now eat with our minds to the detriment of our sensations.
What a pity...
